I have been very neglectful of my blog lately - I have been just been SO busy and blogging always seem to fall to the bottom of my list of 'Stuff to Get Done'... but here is a little warm-up colour exploration sketch I did this morning. Yay for Friday!

My 'Big Book of Happy' and 'Big Book of Silly' have been published in French - oooh la la! (We are having lots of fun in my house saying 'zinzin'!) The block puzzle I illustrated for Mudpuppy called 'Garden Friends' is out now. I am super happy with the final product. Have a look here.
The printer proofs for my new card designs arrived today. I am totally chuffed with the colours, they look AMAZING!
I was at my local Readings Bookshop in Acland Street, St.Kilda today and spotted my Happy and Silly books.
YAY!!! They are finally here - I unpacked my authors' copies of my new books 'Happy' and 'Silly' (as I call them) late last week. The print finishing is AMAZING, the colours are clear and bright and I am very, very happy! I would love to hear from anyone who sees them in their local bookshop.
Two of my books for Simon & Schuster in the UK - 'Small, Smaller, Smallest' and 'Up, Down Across' have been published by French publisher Helium. They look so chic in French!
I was recently contacted by design studio Tried & True in New Zealand to do some illustration work for berry packaging. This was a super fun and challenging job and I think the end result is fab. (Design and photography by Tried & True, illustration by me.) |
