A little bit about me…

Hello, my name is Natalie and I draw, write and design. I went to university and graduated with an honours degree in graphic design and an illustration award from the Melbourne Art Directors Club. I spent many years designing corporate identities and annual reports but then I decided to do something different - now I draw all day every day and make books for kids to enjoy - and I consider that to be a pretty good job.

My books have been published both locally and internationally by a range of publishers including Simon & Schuster, Scholastic US, Little Brown, The Five Mile Press, SmartInk Books, Cottage Door Press, Little Bee, Langue Au Chat, Helium and Ladybird. My illustrations have licensed to Hallmark,
American Greetings and Papyrus and have appeared on packaging for a variety of products, from talcum powder to kiwiberries. I also produce my own greeting cards for my Little Red Owl range and make school lunches for my kids.

Here are a few of the titles I have illustrated, and I wrote some of them too:

- Book of Happy
- Book of Silly
- Book of Small (NEW for 2017)
- Book of Big (NEW for 2017)

- Small, Smaller, Smallest
- Up, Down, Across
- Tiny Creatures, a Touch & Feel book
- Baby Animals, a Touch & Feel book
- Millie-Mae and the Windy Day (NEW for 2017)
- Millie-Mae and the Lemon Tree (NEW for 2017)

- Millie- Mae in The Garden
- Millie-Mae Dresses Up

I live near the beach with my bike-loving husband and my two busy children but I have also lived and worked in New York and London. I am one of those people who needs coffee in the mornings. I love blue nail polish, riding my bike, swimming, running and eating any food that I did not have to cook... and I have an Australian Koolie called Obi Wan who likes to run fast and bark loudly.

I am a member of the wonderful Illustrators Australia.
